Environmental taxi
The Environmental Taxi collects waste and items that do not fit in your regular bins.
Everything that can be reused is sent to our reuse shop.
The rest is sent for recycling.
If you have large amounts of waste, such as from an estate clearance, you must instead order a container from Agder Renovasjon Næring AS at arnas.no.
All waste must be sorted by type before collection: Cardboard in one box/bag, plastic in another, small electronics in a separate box/bag, etc.
Different types of waste must not be placed in the same bag or box.
What we collect:
- Furniture, mattresses
- White goods (e.g. refrigerators, washing machines)
- Bicycles
- Boxes with items for reuse
- Bags of clothing
- Car tires and car accessories
- Doors and windows
- Electrical products
- Carpets
- Cardboard (must be flattened and tied with tape or string)
- Sports equipment
- Toilets, bathtubs, and sinks
- Books
- Hazardous waste (must be clearly labeled)
- And more…
We do not collect:
- Bags of residual waste
- Bags with mixed waste – must be sorted!
- Paper for shredding
- Demolition waste (wood, insulation, drywall, bricks, tiles, waste from kitchen or bathroom renovations, etc.)
- Garden waste (branches, leaves, etc.)
- Soil and stones
If you have large amounts of this type of waste, please order a container from Agder Renovasjon Næring AS at arnas.no.
Volume limits
We collect up to 2 m³ per pickup (1m x 1m x 2m).
Maximum item dimensions: 2.3 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 1.2 meters in height.
Weight limit
Maximum weight per item: 100 kg.
Items must be liftable by two people.
For example, pianos are not collected.
Price
NOK 500 per pickup (including VAT), invoiced after collection.
Free vouchers cannot be used.
Pickup days
Mainly on Tuesdays – the exact date must be agreed upon.
Placement of items
Place the waste outside and easily accessible before the scheduled pickup.
Important: Make sure that items not intended for pickup are placed away from the collection area.
We don't want to take more than we're supposed to.
