Tours for schools and groups
Guided tours can be booked at both Østerhus and Heftingsdalen.
During the tour, you’ll be taken «behind the scenes» and learn more about waste sorting, sustainability, waste handling, material recycling, energy recovery, and the journey of waste beyond Agder Renovasjon.
We tailor the tours to match the curriculum for both primary and lower/upper secondary schools.
A tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours, but can be adjusted if needed.
For safety and HSE reasons, the minimum grade level for school classes is 5th grade.
