Agder Renovasjon IKS took over the invoicing of waste collection fees for each municipality as of January 1, 2021.
This means that the waste collection fee is no longer included in the municipal charges that the municipalities will continue to invoice.

By default, waste collection is invoiced quarterly.
It is possible to change the billing frequency to either monthly or annually.

How to understand the different invoice line items?

The fixed fee (fast del) is invoiced per housing unit.
For example, if you have a detached house with a rental unit (such as a basement apartment), you must pay for two fixed fees, provided the apartment is rented out.

The fixed fee is a set amount, which covers everything except residual waste.

The residual waste fee (variabel del) is variable, and depends on the volume/size of the waste bin.
Residual waste is the most expensive to dispose of, so you pay more if you want a larger bin, and less if you manage with collection every 6 weeks (mini subscription).

Direct debit or e-invoice
We encourage you to set up your invoice as a direct debit (AvtaleGiro) or e-invoice (eFaktura).
This can be done through your online banking service, for example when paying an invoice.

Change of invoice recipient
As the owner or registered titleholder of a property, you are responsible for paying the waste collection fee.
If the invoice recipient is someone other than the owner, a written request must be submitted.
We require, among other things, the national ID number of the new invoice recipient.

Estate after death
In the event of a death, it can be difficult for the bereaved to keep track of all bills, as all bank accounts of the deceased are closed.
This means there is no longer access to e-invoice or direct debit.

In such cases, representatives of the estate must contact Agder Renovasjon at 370 58 800, to ensure the waste collection fee for the property is paid.

Debt collection and payment difficulties
If you are experiencing temporary payment difficulties, it is important to contact us at 370 58 800.
We may be able to arrange a payment plan, helping you avoid the claim being sent to debt collection.

Change of subscription
Changes to the waste collection subscription will take effect from the first month after the change.
