Distribution of bompostable bags
Compostable food waste bags are distributed once a year.
This applies only to subscribers in Arendal, Grimstad, and Froland.
If you need additional food waste bags or plastic sacks for packaging waste, tie an empty compostable bag or plastic sack to your bin. The waste collector will leave a new roll for you. You can also order bags by sending an email to kundesenter@agderrenovasjon.no, sending a message via the MinRenovasjon app, or calling 370 58 800. The bags are free of charge.
Note: We do not distribute plastic sacks to households that have a bin for plastic waste. If your plastic bin is too small, please order a larger bin by emailing kundesenter@agderrenovasjon.no.
Compostable bags can also be picked up at one of the stores listed below. Residents using underground waste containers must collect compostable bags from a store.

Arendal: Kiwi sentrum, Kiwi Bjorbekk, Spar Arendal Sentrum, Meny Krøgenes, Coop Extra Tromøytunet, Matkroken Kilsund, Kiwi Saltrød, Kiwi Nedenes, Joker Hisøy, Servicesenteret i Kulturhuset
Grimstad: Joker Storgata, Meny Fevik, Joker Homborsund, Spar Odden, Servicesenteret Rådhuset
Froland: Spar Blakstad, KIWI Blakstadheia
Plastic packaging sacks
Plastic packaging sacks are distributed once a year.
If you need additional sacks, tie an empty sack to a bin scheduled for collection, and the waste collector will leave a new roll. The sacks are free of charge.
Residual waste sacks
It is no longer permitted to place residual waste sacks outside for collection.
Residual waste must be delivered to a waste reception facility.
Please use transparent sacks (not the same type used for plastic packaging) when delivering residual waste to the facility.
