Did you know that we offer different types of subscriptions?
The most common one is called the standard subscription. This is for households consisting of several people, where there is typically a fair amount of residual waste. With this subscription, residual waste is collected every three weeks.
For households that produce little residual waste, we offer a subscription called the mini subscription.
With a mini subscription, you can save half of the residual waste fee, currently NOK 1,787.75 per year.
The only difference from a standard subscription is that residual waste is collected every 6 weeks. All the other bins are emptied on the same schedule as the standard subscription.
Those who have a mini subscription receive a yellow lid on their residual waste bin, so that the collectors can easily see which bins should be emptied and when.
If you have a good relationship with your neighbor, and you know that they are just as good at sorting waste as you are, a third option may be relevant — a shared subscription/cooperation.
Not everyone wants to wait 6 weeks between each residual waste collection, as it may start to smell, especially during the summer. Some prefer collection every 3 weeks even if the bin is only half full.
If you share a 140-liter residual waste bin with your neighbor, you will both pay a waste collection fee equivalent to a mini subscription, but the residual waste will still be collected every 3 weeks. You can also share a 240-liter bin — it will still be cheaper than a standard subscription.
If several neighbors want to share waste bins, you may save even more, as long as everyone sorts their waste properly, reducing the need for residual waste capacity.
Try our calculator, which you can find on our website. There you can enter the number of housing units and the number of liters of residual waste, and you will get the price per household unit:
