The compartment for electronic waste and hazardous waste in the collection trucks is relatively small. This means there is limited space for small electronics and hazardous waste that the collectors can take with them each week.

Small units of hazardous waste should be placed in regular carrier bags and hung on the plastic hook. Hazardous waste must be stored in its original packaging or in other tightly sealed and clearly labelled containers. Larger quantities or units of hazardous waste must be delivered to a waste reception facility.

Note: Paint, stain, oil cans and similar items must be delivered to a waste reception facility and are not collected by the waste truck.

The collectors sometimes experience that people have placed out large vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, or several 10‑liter buckets of paint. These are items they do not have space for and must be delivered to one of our reception facilities.

Small electrical and electronic items should be placed in a regular carrier bag and hung on the plastic hook. Larger electrical items must be delivered to a waste reception facility.
